Cooking while camping is something that a lot of people overlook. You may “not want to deal with it” or trying to avoid dishes! One Pot Camping Breakfast
The most important meal of the day! In order to have the energy you desire, making sure that you have a delicious breakfast can kick your day off to a great start! You may get sick of eating cereal or a pop tart every morning, so let’s mix it up!
Pancakes! Everyone loves pancakes! If you prepare everything the right way, you can make these easily every morning! The kids may want to help with this breakfast and this hack and can make it super easy! Use an old (washed out and cleaned) ketchup bottle to store your pancake batter! Make your batter the night before, put it in the container and store it in the fridge. The next morning, the pancake batter gets squirted out on the griddle or pan and voila! The kids can squirt it out, add blueberries, strawberries or your favorite syrup and enjoy!
Power Breakfast! When you need that extra boost of energy for a long hike or day at the lake this can be your new go-to breakfast! Grab your Dutch oven, bag of ingredients and get started. Take some sausage, peppers, cheese, green onion, tomatoes, spinach, olive oil, and eggs! (Amount varies depending on how many you are feeding.) Follow the recipe in order to make sure you are cooking everything thoroughly. Before you know it, you have a delicious, healthy breakfast for the whole fam! One Pot Camping Lunch
A lot of people can overlook lunch because they are out on the water or out exploring. But, if you run into a rainy day, or a bunch of hungry kids, lunch is a necessity. Here are some ideas that everyone will want!
Mac n Cheese! I’m not sure there is anything else in the world that people can agree on more than a bowl of delicious, gooey mac n’ cheese! When you’re camping, you don’t have to rely on a cup of noodles to get your M&C fix! Between the prep and cook time, this recipe is only 15 minutes and gives you that creamy, yummy goodness you have been wanting. The ingredients are minimal and the process is easy!
Nachos! Everyone loves a messy, packed plate of nachos! Did you know that by using a Dutch oven, you can make these over a campfire?! This is an easy recipe because you can customize it and make it different every time! Choose your Chips, cheese, beans, favorite sauce, sour cream, maybe some green onion and call it a day! If you have some left over chicken or meat from the night before, throw that in as well! A tip: make sure to add lots of layers so it bakes well, and it feeds more! This is a dish that you will want to bring out every time you are out camping!

After a long, exhausting yet thrilling day, sit down with the family and enjoy a great dinner together. Talk about all the adventures you had and your plans for tomorrow! What’s better than eating together under the stars?!
Pizza! Pizza is a staple in our family, no matter where we are traveling. Learning to make pizza while you are out camping makes the whole family happy! Grab your cast iron skillet and start to build your favorite pizza! You can either bring premade dough or make your own! Grab some tomato sauce, mozzarella, and all your fixin’s! Make one or make five! Have a blast cooking, and eating together.
Chicken Parm! If you want something home cooked that makes you forget you are camping, this is it! Chicken Parmesan is a delicious, easy meal that you can make in one pot!
